Description:
Meet Tilly, look at those soulful eyes!
Are you looking for a loyal companion who will literally “paw” you for love?
Tilly is a medium-sized mixed breed with a beautiful black coat and black and white speckled paws. She is a young girl with a heart of gold and a zest for life. Once she knows you, Tilly is all about affection, she has lots of energy and loves affection from her humans. She’s a “lap dog” in a medium dog’s body and will gently paw at you to make sure the strokes don’t stop. She can be a little wary of new faces at first, but with a bit of patience, her true, bubbly personality shines through.
Tilly has a high prey drive and loves to follow her nose. While her recall is improving in the garden, she’ll need a long line for those adventurous walks in the countryside. Tilly is fully toilet trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is highly food-motivated
Tilly thrives in a quiet, calm environment. She’s looking for a home away from the hustle and bustle of city life. She will need a home with a nice secure garden with at least one other friendly playful dog to show her the ropes and keep her company. Tilly needs an adult-only home (no children) where she can enjoy a calmer pace of life. She is not cat tested.
Tilly is a truly special girl who just needs a quiet corner of the world and a family to call her own. Could that be you? If you have just melted and who could blame you please get in touch
Tilly is in foster in the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area
Thank you for your interest in Tilly. If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.
As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life and therefore it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them. When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs. Every dog is an individual and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive. For example, will the dog cope with a small garden or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment? Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home? Will it cope sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog? Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you? Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.
