Description:

Lacey and her four siblings were found with their mum, Lucy struggling to survive the harsh Romanian winter.  Lucy was doing her best to care for them, but thankfully they were found in time and were taken to the safety of Happys.

Lacey is truly spectacular (like all her siblings ), a gentle giant with the most soulful kind eyes; she has a softer longer coat and a long tail.

Once you have earned Lacey’s trust, she is extremely affectionate, playful, loving, absolutely adores being groomed and walks nicely on lead. Lacey is friendly and loving; she will gladly follow you everywhere. Like all her siblings, Lacey isn’t fazed by horses.

Although now fully grown, Lacey is still a pup mentally and will need a careful introduction to living in a home. Lacey could live in a home with older sensible children. We would love Lacey to be homed with another friendly dog if possible. Lacey has not been cat tested.

We are looking for a rural/semi-rural home with a nice secure garden and lawn. Preferably another friendly, calm dog to play with. Walks from the doorstep would be great as Lacey, like all her siblings, is not used to traffic and a busy environment.

Lacey has such a calm, friendly nature and just needs someone that will give her the time, space and love she needs to blossom into the most glorious best friend. When she does, and it won’t take long, we promise your heart will melt.

Thank you for your interest in Lacey if you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.

As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life, and therefore, it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them.  When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs.  Every dog is an individual, and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive.  For example, will the dog cope with a small garden, or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment?  Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home?  Will it cope with sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog?  Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you?  Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs, and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.

We’d love to chat…
