Description:

Meet Jack!

They say good things come to those who wait, and handsome Jack has been waiting so patiently to find his person. This stunning 3-year-old Cockerpoo is currently living in kennels and he is so ready to steal your heart.

After living in a home Poor Jack was sadly surrendered with a bit of a misunderstood reputation. While “Cocker Rage” was initially mentioned, the team up at kennels have spent months getting to know the real Jack, and they can happily say that has been completely debunked. What they found instead is a sensitive, “little old soul” who just needs a predictable routine to feel safe. Jack is special little man who just needs someone to take the time to get to know and believe in him

Jack absolutely loves his walks and thrives when playing with other dogs. He has fantastic recall, walks beautifully on a lead, and is impeccably clean in his kennel. Jack has a favourite toy, he doesn’t just play with it; he’ll trot over to show it to you with the proudest little face you’ve ever seen.

When in his kennel he loves sitting right on top of his crate watching the world go by, probably hoping someone will walk through the door and take him home

Jack is a complex little lad who needs an experienced, breed-savvy owner. He does practice resource guarding (mostly with toys), though he has never escalated to biting during his time at kennels, he just needs someone who understands how to manage this with patience and boundaries.

Jack is looking for a rural or semi-rural home with a secure garden with plenty of lawn for those essential zoomies. He would benefit from living with a calm, docile dog who won’t mind that Jack isn’t the best at sharing his treasures. He will need Someone dedicated to maintaining his routine and helping his confidence shine.

Jack is truly an affectionate boy who has so much love to give. He just needs one person to see past the labels and offer him the stability he craves.

Thank you for your interest in Jack. If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.

As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life and therefore it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them. When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs. Every dog is an individual and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive. For example, will the dog cope with a small garden or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment? Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home? Will it cope sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog? Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you? Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.

We’d love to chat…
