Description:
The cheeky, charming little whirlwind who’s ready to steal your heart…and maybe your snacks too! Say hello to Abbie, a pocket rocket of a pup who’s bursting with character, energy and love. This little lady has confidence, playfulness, and affection in abundance and she’s looking for a home that’s as full of life as she is.
Abbie is cheeky, clever and utterly adorable. She settled into foster life immediately, sleeping through the night from Day 1 and confidently exploring her new surroundings.
She’s fearless, fun, and loves to be part of whatever’s going on, whether it’s playing with toys, greeting new people, or zooming around the garden with a big grin on her face. She’s quick to learn, loves affection, and has a brilliant sense of humour (she even barked at her own reflection and jumped when she farted)
Abbie’s a sociable girl, getting on wonderfully with dogs, children and even cats. She’s especially fond of her foster brothers and holds her own during playtime, she’s always up for a game and initiates with a confident wag and a cheeky paw swipe. She understands boundaries too, backing off when she realises it’s time to tone things down. Abbie is a multi dog home and really thriving
And when she’s tired, she retreats to her own secret hideaway tucked between the sofa and a plant pot, where she curls up for some quiet time.
Abbie is very food-focused, which makes her a dream to train. She eats well, knows when food is around, and will gently help herself if you’re not paying attention. She’ll need ongoing guidance around food manners, but her eagerness to learn makes her a great candidate for a fun filled structured training plan.
Abbie is still young and learning about the world, so she’ll thrive in a calm but active home within a rural or semi-rural location, a nice-sized, secure garden for zoomies, ideally another friendly, playful dog to show her the ropes, a family with time, patience and lots of love to give, someone home most of the day (who can help her continue learning) with a family with a fun lifestyle with walks, cuddles and new adventures!
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, clever, cuddly companion, Abbie might just be your perfect match.
Abbie is a very happy, sweet and playful pup, full of energy and wanting love. Her new family will need to have the time to dedicate to caring for a growing puppy, supporting her with development and training. If you think you can meet Abbie’s needs please fill out a registration form and one of our rehoming team will be in touch.
Thank you for your interest in Abbie. If you would like to apply to adopt one of our dogs, please read the ‘How do I Adopt’ pages, where you can find more information about the process and the costs involved.
As you can imagine, each one of our dogs is very precious to us, they haven’t had the best start in life and therefore it is absolutely crucial we find the right homes for them. When you complete a registration form, please tell us as much as you can about why you are looking to adopt a dog and how you think you can meet their needs. Every dog is an individual and our amazing rehoming team will know exactly what type of home each dog needs to thrive. For example, will the dog cope with a small garden or is it the type of dog who needs to live in a rural environment? Will the dog enjoy being around children, or is it best suited to an adult only home? Will it cope sharing a home with other pets, or is it best as an only dog? Are you outdoorsy types who like to go hiking, or would you prefer a dog who is happy to snuggle up on the sofa with you? Our rehoming team will be very familiar with the needs of each of our dogs and the information you provide on your application form will help them to match you with the right dog.
